The Astra Aerolab site sits on the traditional lands of the Worimi people. We acknowledge and celebrate their culture and the historical links to the land and an Aboriginal Keeping Place will remain undisturbed on the land.
Community Collections with archaeologists, Worimi Local Aboriginal Land Council, Nur-run-gee Pty Ltd and Mur-roo-ma Inc. have occurred prior to development to sweep the site for aboriginal artefacts and to provide community representatives time to connect with country and check the wellbeing of the locality.
